Things I learned this year from people I love

Hello Everyone.

2022 was a year full of life lessons. It taught us that people will leave, everything will change, and we just need to accept and embrace the change. Because change is beautiful. It gives you new hopes in life, and if you embrace the change, you will turn into a totally new and best version of yourself. But the biggest lesson I learnt this year is, "Stop glorifying your pain. Because if you glorify your pain, you will become a victim. And victims are not victors." Yes, we are not victims, we are victors, warriors.

This time instead of letting sadness and pain take control over me, I am choosing to be happy and letting hopes and new opportunities enter my life. I'm letting all the pain and sadness go away. I will be a victor this time.

And for letting this change happen, I would like to appreciate the people who helped me reach this point where I am ready to change my life. This post is all about what I've learnt from them. And so here they are:

  1. Aditi: Aditi taught me how to accept a person fully with their goodness as well as their flaws.
  2. Dev: Dev taught me how to be chill in life and when to say "No". I never used to say no, but I learned from him that saying "No" at the right time is really important.
  3. Aaket: Aaket taught me, how to value friendships. Yes, I used to value friendships, but he taught me how to maintain them and appreciate that beautiful bond.
  4. Manav: Manav taught me how to believe in God and learn from what they have done.
  5. Urmit: Urmit taught me how to give and take respect. I respect everyone, but I learned it more accurately after meeting him.
  6. Meet bhaiya: Meet bhaiya taught me how to talk nicely and motivate others, even if they fucked up. He taught me how to support and appreciate the goodness in everyone.
  7. Shaishav: Shaishav taught me how to help others, how to guide them when they are in a problem or just feeling lost, and how to listen to what others are saying. It's really important. As I said, he is like medicine to my soul. And he also taught me different personal styles of writing poetry.
  8. Malav: Malav taught me how to grow as a person and how to focus more on myself rather than taking tension and focusing on others' opinions.
  9. Devanshi: Devanshi taught me how to maintain a friendship for years.
So yes, these are the people who taught me major life lessons till now. I appreciate their presence in my life. You taught me lessons which I had only heard of and never implemented. This time, I'm implementing them as well.

Thank you.

Giving life and myself another chance

It's said that there's a reason behind everything. And it's true. There's a reason why I couldn't continue to post on my blog for so long.

Well, life was not good till this time. There was pressure from college to complete loads of assignments, and many situations came which shook me emotionally. I saw many things change around me. I lost friends and saw relations with others change, let it be teachers, parents, friends, etc. I saw my dreams changing too. My passions were just like the tides of the sea, falling and rising. I saw my feelings change from time to time too. From thinking that I love someone to realising that it was just my forceful feeling, not the true one, everything changed inside me. But I'm grateful for all of this.

Of course, I met new people, and my life became somewhat worth living. I met beautiful people like Dev, Shaishav, Manav, Aaket, Shital Didi, etc. And many others. But the most important thing is that they all are artists. And being an artist, I was so happy to meet people similar to me. Dev turned out to be one of my most trustworthy and faithful friend. Manav became my brother, and Aaket also a very good friend. Shaishav is just like medicine to my injured soul. But apart from all this, even if for only a few weeks, months or years, they have become an important part of my life. And I will never forget how grateful I'm to meet them, as they greatly contribute to improving my life.

And how can I forget my backbone? The people who are my life. Devanshi, Aditi and Malav. They were there for me in my tough and happy times. They know a part of me that no one else knows. And I'm grateful to have these beautiful souls in my life. Well, I have no words to describe what they mean to me. Because they are my universe, my lucky charm.

Yes, even if life was tough, and unbearable sometimes, still there was hope that I'll survive. And see, I survived. I decided that I will give myself another chance. A chance to become the kind of person I always dreamt about becoming. And life, well, I give it another chance too. I've learnt that always trust yourself and life. Because, they will never betray you, or laugh at you.

So yes, here is a part of my disturbed life, and the people who made it beautiful and worth living. I will now continue to post regularly, as this is also a part of my self-improvement journey.

Till then, goodbye and take care.
